So many of our friends and family have made comments like this: "It feels like you are in a treehouse since you can see trees and even their tops out of almost every window! You are surrounded by trees!" We fell in love with this property because it is so peaceful and feels like you are out in the country. We actually custom built this home ourselves (with the help of some subcontractors) and sweated over every detail to make it the truly special place it has become. We crave lots of natural light and the lofty feeling high ceilings bring! You will swear the home seems larger than its modest footprint would suggest. The community is super friendly - everyone waves and watches out for each other.

Gig Harbor itself is one of the most charming coastal towns in the whole country! Lots of great little shops, restaurants, parks and docks to explore! Summertime brings Concerts in the Park on Tuesday evenings and the Farmer's Market on Thursdays afternoons.

We have fast WiFi from xfinity - so you can confidently get any work or streaming done. We currently only stream to the TV - no cable available. That has worked well for us for many years now. The Sonos surround sound bar and sub woofer makes TV watching fun and easier to hear dialogue as well!

You will have access to the entire home (second level). Since it is also our main home, we may have some personal items in some areas like the refrigerator or a cupboard or two and in closets. There will be plenty of storage room for your needs. Help yourself to condiments, spices and sauces. Our house is your house when you are our guest!

The lower level of the home is the owner's small business studio, apartment and storage. It is used on a part time basis and usually during normal business hours. The floor between levels is insulated so it is very quiet. On the second floor you will have absolute privacy - especially since the entrance is around the side of the house with its own front door. Our total property is 1 acre and we park our RV on site for about half the year. Sometimes we stay in our RV on the property. Sometimes we stay in the small apartment on the first floor (garage).
