Come and stay with us and relax!
Hear the birds sing to you, watch the hummingbirds and BREATHE! Venture out the door, walk in our neighborhood and see old growth redwoods. Let your cares drift away with a glass of wine by the fire.(fire restrictions apply) Take a soak in the hot tub then wrap up in the spa bathrobes. Feeling adventurous? Hike out your door to Nisene Marks State Park or mountain bike to Desolation Forest!

Including plates, bowls, utensils, mugs, wine glasses and a cork screw. There is also a French (or Italian 😊) coffee press, electric kettle and an assortment of teas. It also has a microwave and a small refrigerator, if you would like to borrow our cooler, just ask us.

The hot tub is for your private use only. There is no curfew and it is available for you anytime day or night. There are lights along the eve of the house you will want to turn off while in the hot tub and star gazing. Please turn these lights off before you turn in for the night. The switch is next to our sliding glass door.

Our guest suite is on the upper level (3rd floor) of our home and private from the main residence. We live on the second floor.

A DIY continental breakfast is provided in your refrigerator for two guests the first morning. It consists of homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruit and local coffee from Pacific Coffee and Roasting. Enjoy the patio seating areas bordered by the flowering salvia, low granite rock walls and views of the redwoods.

There is a private bathroom that has a skylight with a combined shower and bath tub. Plenty of towels and all the necessary toiletries are provided.

In advance and upon request, we will provide everything needed for the use our barbecue, except your menu items!

The Forest Nisene Marks State Park is a twenty minute walk from our home or a ten minute drive. The drive from Aptos Village to our home is along Cathedral Drive, it is a narrow winding road that follows the curves of Aptos Creek. There are no street lights along Cathedral, so after sunset it will be dark, just drive slowly and enjoy the adventure. It is totally worth the short drive, if you want to be away from the city lights.

You will find hikes nearby that are on private property and available to you, just ask us for the details. You will have a California State Park pass to use while you are our guest. ($125 value if lost) We are off the beaten path and only 15 minutes from the Pacific Coast Highway. We are just south of Santa Cruz with easy access to all the local attractions. Monterey is a 40 minute drive, Point Reyes National Reserve is 50 minutes, and Big Sur is 1.5 hours.

There is a significant redwood staircase which brings you up to our front door. You can ring the door bell and say hello or continue up the granite steps. These will then lead you up to the Airbnb and the stone patio behind our home. The door to the guest studio is located at the far end of the patio.

Guests may request a three course Champagne Breakfast at $80 or a Wake UP Special at $50 for two. Guests are served outside, weather permitting by a fire. If this is an additional service you would like to add on to your reservation, please let me know.

Champagne and Fresh Squeezed O.J., Fruit plate, Pastries, Homemade Granola Parfait, Souffle Omelette, Roasted Parmesan Potatoes accompanied by various accoutrements.

Wake Up Menu:
Fresh Squeezed O.J., Fresh Fruit, Artisan French Toast or Egg Plate with potatoes and fruit.

Small pets are allowed that weight less than 25 pounds. You must keep dog on a leash at all times. They may not be left in the airbnb alone, unless you have spoken to me about leaving them. There is a $50 pet fee per animal, one is max.
