Imagine retreating to this sanctuary after a busy day of sightseeing in Manhattan. Sleep peacefully, away from the noise of The City, in an oversize suite in an American-style home in Great Neck, a quiet, safe, upscale suburb.

You’ll be less than one mile from the train to NYC and a vibrant main street with restaurants and shopping (and a Starbucks!). JFK Airport is 18 minutes away and LGA is 15.

Or explore Long Island’s beaches, Miracle Mile shopping, Fire Island, The Hamptons and Montauk.

This spacious room with a private bathroom and working gas fireplace sleeps two. There is a deliciously-comfortable Tempur-Pedic king-size bed with six different pillows so you can find your perfect comfort rest. There are two nightstands, a dresser, an overstuffed armchair with ottoman, a TV, and a desk and chair.

The spa bathroom has HEATED FLOORS, a marble sink and shower, and a soaking tub. French doors open out to a small balcony with a chair and table.

The suite has a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee machine with a “coffee bar” with an assortment of coffee pods/selection of teas, creamers, sugar, and to-go coffee cups w/ lids. A welcome snack basket and bottled water, as well as a piece of chocolate on your nightstand, await you.

Amenities include: streaming, free Wi-Fi, off-street driveway parking, and blackout window shades, as well as use of laundry facilities.

NOTE: Two additional suites, each with a private bath, are available on-site for larger groups/ families under separate listings and additional nightly rates. These are completely separate units.

Hosts live on site and are proud native New Yorkers who would be happy to answer any questions you may have or make recommendations. But if you crave privacy or solitude, they respect that too. They speak French and Spanish in addition to English.

THE LOCATION
Great Neck, a quiet, safe, upscale residential neighborhood is located 21 miles from midtown Manhattan. You’ll be less than one mile from the 25-minute Long Island Railroad (LIRR) express train to Manhattan.

Surrounding the train station is a vibrant downtown main street with numerous multicultural restaurants and shopping (and a Starbucks!), if you prefer to stay local.

You will also be within walking distance of several parks and 3 miles from Kings Point Park, a nature preserve with hiking trails.

Visitors wishing to explore Long Island will have easy access to Miracle Mile shopping, beaches, Fire Island, The Hamptons, and Montauk, among other destinations.

Your suite is completely private. If you would like to use the laundry room, please note that it is a shared space. Guests are free to enjoy the front porch and backyard.

NOTE: Please note that included in the host family are two CATS. We want guests with pet allergies to be aware of that.
