About this space

Rest and connect in this warm, cozy cabin that is nestled in the redwoods. Only minutes away from Henry Cowell State Park, where you can enjoy world class mountain biking trails, hiking, or swimming in the river. Or, enjoy the beach 15 minutes away. This is a perfect place to refresh in the magic of the Coastal Redwoods. Music fills most nights either from the Felton Music Hall or from the chorus of frogs. And wake up in the mornings to the mist in the trees when the fog rolls in.

We are nestled on an acre of land with many towering trees to stare at and wonder. Our small cabin is a great place to find wind down for a weekend getaway, a recharge from a long road trip, or the home base for enjoying the town and what the area has to offer.

Our main home shares the property with our guest cabin. We have two very adventurous, happy children. They love to explore our land for mushrooms, salamanders, and insects. They love to meet new people, however, they are aware that our guests privacy is priority. We have four, happy, free ranging chickens, and two friendly, loving cats. It won't be uncommon to see any of these creatures enjoying the outdoors. There is also the wildlife that may visit from time to time; wild turkeys, deer, Stellar's Jay, and even bobcats. On some evenings you may hear the call and answer of some resident Great Horned Owls.

There is an access path to the cabin. Please take notice that this is a mountain property and is not best suitable for guests who may have a hard time walking. Guests will have access to the guest cabin and patio behind it.

The loft is not the only place to lay your head. If you don't want to climb the ladder, the couch easily converts into a queen sized bed.

The coffee table also extends up to be used as a workspace or a quaint dining space.
