Heart of Leucadia: bungalow with unique personality, high ceiling, extra large windows face into the garden. Private entrance. The “Lair" is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. It is not intended for children. Walk 2 1/2 blocks to the beach, and numerous favorite restaurants and shops within blocks. You can LEAVE YOUR CAR at home and still have an amazing vacation!

The Lair has 12ft. high ceilings with stained and finished, exposed trusses creating a much more spacious feeling than a normal room its size. There are quite large, garden view windows facing east and south that add to its feeling of openness and that bring the lush environment to the edge of your retreat. In fact the Lair was built around the impressive Jacaranda tree that is in the forefront of your view to the east. The floors are hydronically heated which tends to create a very pleasing level of comfort, whether climbing out of bed or stepping out of the stone and glass shower. The natural materials incorporated as architectural features tend to enhance a feeling of peace. A French door provides you access to peruse the gardens.

PLEASE NOTE:
Recycling and trash collection is on-site and handled by owners.

The LairHouse has a strict NO SMOKING policy anywhere on the property, both indoors and outdoors.

The Lair-House has a private entrance as well as a back French door that opens into the gardens.
Note:
Due to updated city permitting requirements, the bungalow is now attached to our main house by a hallway. However, your access still remains private and exclusive via the two exterior doors, mentioned above, and the new hall door remains locked from both sides at all times.

Parking for the Lair-House is along Leucadia Blvd., but off of the street. When you arrive pull into the driveway one car length and then back in along the high hedge, near the mailboxes. Then walk down the drive to the end of the gate (about 15ft.), turn right and there is your "Lair"!
