The apartment is private, has its own outside entrance, and is not shared with the rent of the house.

This is the basement apartment that is approximately 1000 square feet including a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom with a private outdoor entrance. There is a sleeping nook with a queen size bed under the stairs but there is no door for privacy. The porch and hot tub is private, but the pool (not heated) is in the backyard and shared with the owners who live on the property.
